real estate guide

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I grew up in church with a very active faith life and danced throughout my life. After high school, I was a missionary for 2 years, sharing my faith with thousands of teens. I attended Franciscan University in Ohio, where I attained degrees in Theology and Psychology and went on to be a high school religion teacher and a youth minister back in Houston. During this time,  I married my musician husband Jon (who is ALSO a Realtor®with 6th Ave Homes) and we have three children. We have lived in Houston, Round Rock, and Temple (where he is from) and we couldn’t be happier to have settled here. Never in my life did I think that I would live a smaller town, let alone LOVE it so much! We are very active with our church St. Luke and are members of the Historic Preservation League of Temple. We love living in the Historic District and bringing life back into forgotten homes like ours! I love getting to work with my husband as we homeschool our children on our little urban homestead with our gardens and chickens…and an endless list of DIY projects.

What do you love about your job:  Giving my full attention to the person in front of me and listening to their heart is at the center of all that I do. I love hearing people’s stories, trying to understand their point of view and meeting them where they are at so that I can help them make a house they like into a home they’ll love.

Interesting Fact: I lived in a small town in Austria for 6 months and traveled on weekends all over Europe - my favorite place in the world is Assisi, Italy.
