Project overview

What began as a necessary repair turned into a soulful upgrade for this historic Berkeley Place home. After a leaky old jacuzzi tub began dripping into the kitchen below, our past clients—whom we had previously helped furnish and style their living areas—called us back in to reimagine their upstairs primary bathroom.

Rather than overhaul the floor plan, we honored the existing layout while weaving in fresh personality through high-impact finishes and thoughtful adjustments. A standout design moment: the new wet room layout, where a sleek modern tub is tucked inside a spacious shower zone framed with brass-accented glass. We also swapped the previous double vanity for a single, custom-fit piece with more counter space—tailored to how the clients really live.

Behind the walls, we addressed legacy plumbing issues left behind by past remodels, replacing outdated pipes and reinforcing the integrity of the space for decades to come.

This was a design-only project, but one packed with purpose and charm—a space that now feels just as considered and character-rich as the rest of this storied home.
