Project overview

When a young family in Fort Worth’s coveted Overton Park neighborhood called us, they were ready to turn an awkward, outdated primary bathroom into a seamless extension of their home—and give their curb appeal a major upgrade too.

Inside, we took the bathroom down to the studs and reimagined the entire footprint. Gone was the odd vanity setup floating in the bedroom; we enclosed the space, took down unnecessary walls, and opened up a clean, cohesive layout. A rich green tiled shower with dark grout anchors the space, complemented by a mid-century inspired vanity, oversized hexagon floor tiles, and mixed metal plumbing fixtures in our signature champagne bronze finish. Fluted sconces flank a sleek medicine cabinet mirror, giving the whole room a layered but unfussy feel—perfectly balancing function and character.

Outside, we gave the home a classic refresh with Sherwin-Williams Alabaster on the brick, installed all new windows and a new front door, updated the hardware and house numbers, and brought a fresh energy to a timeless ranch-style property.

There was one hiccup along the way—custom interior doors came in incorrectly manufactured—but even with supplier delays, we kept the project moving and delivered a final product that feels as thoughtful and soulful as the family who lives there.
