This Tanglewood home once belonged to a bachelor—but with a growing family on the way, it was time for the space to grow up, too. The goal? Keep the charm, but reimagine the layout and functionality to serve real family life. We tackled a full-home transformation, starting with fresh paint throughout, new windows, and removing popcorn ceilings to brighten and modernize every room. The biggest shift came in the former “beer pong room,” which we transformed into a full-fledged kids’ play space—with custom toy storage, fun new flooring, and a converted garage door replaced with French doors that bring in the light. We remodeled the laundry room with new tile, built-ins, and modern hardware, and gave the breakfast nook a cozy upgrade with a custom built-in bench. In the den, we leaned into bold color and added stylish built-ins to maximize storage and personality. And the formal living room now features detailed decorative molding that adds soul and polish. Every room now feels intentional, layered, and ready for the next chapter of family memories.
