Buy & Sell · Fort Worth
Buy a Fort Worth home you love, or sell yours for every dollar it’s worth
We don’t do stuffy suits, impersonal transactions, or poor communication. We’re committed to doing real estate the better way, making every moment clear and meaningful, so you get the deal you deserve without the stress of the old-school real estate experience.
And because our agents work alongside our designers and builders, you can find out what a house would cost to change before you make an offer.
Where are you starting?
The problem with the old way
We know you want a home that feels like you
So you get one agent who knows this market, and who stays with you from the first showing to the closing table.
The old-school real estate model can’t get it all done. Ours can.
Most agents treat you like a number. Our real estate agents (we call them Guides) carry a wide base of knowledge in construction, design, drafting, and investing, so you can sell your home for top dollar, buy a house you love, and turn it into your dream home, all with the same trusted partner.

Buying
Buying a home in Fort Worth
Finding the right house is one job. Getting it, at a price that works, is the other one.
Buying a home in Fort Worth and not sure where to start? That’s exactly what your buyer’s agent is for. Moving to Fort Worth, or relocating from out of state? We’ll be the first people you know here, with opinions on every neighborhood and most of the tacos.
- 01
Know what you can spend
Get pre-approved first. Then we’ll tell you what that number actually buys in the neighborhoods you’re looking at.
- 02
Find the ones worth seeing
We know Fairmount, Tanglewood and Aledo well enough to tell you which listings are worth your time before you drive out to one.
- 03
Make the offer that wins the house
When you find it, we write the offer: priced on the comps, and built so the seller says yes.
- 04
Get you to the keys
Inspection, appraisal, financing, the closing table. We run it so you just show up and sign.
And if the house needs work, your agent can walk it with our builders and get you a number on the fixer-upper while you’re still deciding.

Selling
Selling your Fort Worth home
You want two things: top dollar, and it sold. Everything we do on your listing serves one of those.
Your agent tells you which fixes earn their keep, and when a pre-list refresh would earn more than it costs, our design and construction team can do it.

The listing meetup
-
Price it right
High enough to get your money, low enough that buyers show up. A listing that sits ends up selling for less.
-
Prep only what pays
We tell you which fixes raise your number and which just cost you. Skip the rest.
-
Get it in front of buyers
Every buyer shopping your price range should see your house the week it goes live.
-
Hold your price to closing
Offers, inspection requests, appraisal gaps. We defend your number at every table.

Fort Worth buyers and sellers, in their own words
“My husband and I had heard such horror stories about the current market, so we were pretty nervous. 6th Ave Homes quickly eliminated those fears by getting us our dream house within 4 HOURS of it hitting the market! Thanks to her knowledge and opinions, we got the best deal. I would highly recommend using them!”
Our Real Estate Guide made the home buying process incredibly smooth, easy, and understandable! He made my wife and me feel cared for, answering all of our questions and making sure our home checked all of the boxes and then some! I could not recommend any one better to walk you through buying a home.

Straight answers
Buying and selling, asked and answered
Do I need a realtor to buy or sell a home in Fort Worth?
Legally, no. Practically, the right Fort Worth realtor pays for themselves: pricing the home right, writing an offer that competes, negotiating the deal, and catching the problems you can’t see in a showing. Ours do that work for one client at a time, start to finish, so nobody gets handed off.
Meet our agents →What is the option period when you buy a house in Texas?
It’s the window right after your contract is signed when you can walk away for any reason and get your earnest money back. You pay the seller an option fee for that right, and both the fee and the length are negotiated. Your inspection happens during it, and it is what lets you walk if the inspection turns up something you can’t live with.
Real estate jargon, explained →Who pays the real estate agent when I buy or sell a home?
Commission is negotiable, and always has been. A seller agrees with their listing agent on what the sale pays out, and whether any of it goes to the agent who brings the buyer. Since the 2024 industry rule changes, a buyer’s agent agrees on their fee with the buyer in writing before showing homes. We show you our fee before you sign anything.
Ask us about our fee →How do I sell my house in Fort Worth?
Start with a free home valuation, then sit down with a Fort Worth listing agent for the pre-list plan: what to fix, what to leave alone, and what your home should list for. From there, our team handles the photography, the MLS, the showings, and the negotiation through closing.
Get your home valuation →Should I just sell to an iBuyer like Opendoor?
You can, and for some situations the speed is worth it. But that convenience usually comes out of your sale price, before service fees. Before you take a fast offer, get the honest math: what your home would earn on the open market, and which small fixes, if any, would raise it. Then decide.
See what your home is worth →Do you work with investors?
Yes. We represent investors on flips, rentals, and value-add investment properties across Fort Worth, and when a deal turns on the rehab number, we can scope it before you close so you know your numbers going in.
Talk to an agent →Can you help me get my house ready to sell?
Yes, from a light pre-list refresh to a full renovation. Our agents tell you which projects actually move your number, and our design and construction teams do the work.
Our design services →Do I have to use your construction team if I buy or sell with you?
No. Most of our clients simply buy or sell. The design and construction teams are down the hall when you want them, never a requirement.
How we build →Are you the real estate agents who renovate?
Almost. Our agents don’t swing hammers, but the construction company down the hall does. So if the house you love needs work, the people who would do that work can price it while you decide.
How we build →What areas do your agents serve?
Our Fort Worth real estate agents cover the city and its historic neighborhoods, Tarrant County and the Mid-Cities, Parker County out to Weatherford, and Mansfield. Wherever our agents go, the whole team is behind them.
